Baume et Mercier expand their luxury watch collections with the Baume series, a family of stunning dress watches which focus on three design codes: moving lugs for better comfort, an interchangeable lined strap with cork for comfort and an off-centre crown at 12 o’clock which takes inspiration from some of the Swiss watch manufacturer’s earliest creations, the pocket watch. This particular men’s Baume quartz watch calls for attention with its exquisite all-blue colourway. The dial is dressed in a beautiful shade of navy blue with a sunray satin finish with a matching blue snailed small seconds counter at 3 o’clock and a navy blue cotton strap lined with cork. To pair, a second shade of teal blue is incorporated around the flange, on the seconds hand and through the stitching on the strap. The strap of this Baume et Mercier Baume watch is completely interchangeable thanks to the recycled button system so you can easily swap out the blue cotton strap for something even more daring. The men’s timepiece is also equipped with rhodium-plated baton-shaped hands for hours and minutes, a rounded date window at 6 o’clock and small Arabic numerals for a contemporary, minimalist finish. The case measures to 41 millimetres in diameter and is engineered entirely from polished stainless steel, including the movable lugs, closed case back and knurled crown at 12 o’clock.
