As part of their Premier Heritage collection, Swiss watch giants Breitling have released a duo of Breitling Premier Heritage Chronograph watches. The more opulent of the two is this stunning 18 carat rose gold piece which takes inspiration from the brand’s original Premier family launched back in 1940. The design features all the familiar elements of its predecessor with a bi-compax dial layout, bold Arabic numerals and easily operatable knurled crown, elements which embody Breitling’s vision of style and elegance. The solid rose gold case of this Breitling Premier Heritage Chronograph watch measures to 40mm in diameter and comes equipped with slim contoured lugs, a screw down case back and a non-screw down crown with two gaskets promising a water resistance of 100 metres. Housed beneath scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass treated with anti-reflective coating is a refined silver-coloured dial dressed in rose gold Arabic numerals and hands to match the case. A 30 minute counter sits at 3 o’clock while a smalls seconds dial is placed parallel similarly treated to gold hands and black scales to pair with the detailed minutes track and black tachymeter scale around the dial’s circumference. The Breitling Premier Heritage Chronograph also provides central hands for hours, minutes and chronograph seconds and a power reserve of 70 hours all thanks to the COSC certified Breitling Manufacture Calibre B09 with column wheel mechanism and vertical clutch. To complete the men’s Breitling watch, a dark brown alligator leather strap is added with a folding buckle engineered from its respective case material.
