Montblanc are certainly no strangers to classic design codes, having formed an unbeatable reputation with both their writing instruments and their luxury watches. This Montblanc Tradition Quartz watch is a fine example of just that, taking the sophisticated aesthetics of Montblanc fountain pens and transforming them into a versatile, timeless men’s watch. The slender 40 millimetre stainless steel case and straight horns reflect the subtle contours of the pen itself while the domed sapphire crystal glass treated with anti-reflective coating provides only the best in terms of legibility, just like that of the ink. At the centre, the Montblanc Tradition watch exposes a gorgeous silver-white sunray finished dial decorated with traditional rhodium-coated Roman numerals, a black railway minutes track and slender hands for the hours and minutes. Powering the timekeeping hands and the white-coloured date window at 3 o’clock is an immaculate Swiss made quartz movement. The battery-operated calibre is kept protected behind a closed case back which also helps assist in providing the Montblanc men’s watch with a water resistance of 30 meters. To complete the design, a luxurious black alligator leather strap is added alongside a classic stainless steel pin buckle.
