B-42 Official Cosmonauts Chronograph Alarm Titanium is a limited edition timepiece that is equipped with Swiss-made F 2001-5 automatic calibre that performs 28 800 vibrations per hour and has 35 bearing jewels. The movement is certified by Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronométres (COSC) – the Swiss institute that tests chronometers. Other characteristics include Incabloc shock absorber and two barrels. Hands, numerals and indices are covered with luminous paint that enhances night time readability. A date display is positioned at 3 o’clock. The chronograph has a 60-second, a 30-minute and a 12-hour register. Elapsed time is measured through the use of the uni-directional, rotating bezel. Additional useful features include flange with alarm scale, alarm on/off indication, pusher protection, screw-down case back with the emblems of Russian space authorities, limitation plate screwed to the side of the case and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating.
