Its design pays homage to an original model created during the 1930s based on a pocket watch movement with remarkable marine chronometer accuracy. The black dial of this watch is imbued with easily readable Arabic numerals and a set of instantly recognisable Feuille hands. The perfect curvature of the watch’s lugs and easy grip crown are distinct features of a chronograph watch from IWC Schaffhausen. The 41mm model provides chronograph minutes at 12 o’clock and seconds at 6 o’clock, operated by polished push pieces located at 2 and 4 o’clock on the case. Promising unbeatable precision is an in house made movement from IWC’s 69000 Calibre series. The 69335 self winding engine puts its performance of 28,800 vibrations per hour on show behind a sapphire backed case. A black Santoni leather band crafted independently in Italy completes the sophisticated look of this watch, securing with a traditional pin buckle fasten engraved with the IWC lettering.
