Seiko watches, the inventor of the first GPS solar timepiece, are now introducing the Seiko Astron GPS Solar World Time watch and to celebrate this innovation, Seiko have released this Seiko Astron GPS Solar The Earth At Night Limited Edition watch. This stunning timepiece boasts the 8X22 calibre movement which connects to four GPS satellites using only the power of light to identify the time zone and adjust the hands on the dial to reflect the correct time with a precision of one second per 100,000 years. The enchanting dark mother of pearl dial is its defining characteristic that was inspired by our mysterious earth as it glows and glistens during the night. It showcases a perpetual calendar feature at 3 o clock and black hands and markers housed beneath scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass with antireflective treatment. The slim super hard coated black titanium case has been reduced in size compared to older Seiko Astron watches to 44.8mm in diameter and just 12.4mm in thickness. The Seiko Astron GPS Solar The Earth At Night watch comes with two strap choices, a black crocodile strap with a threefold clasp and push button release and a highly polished titanium bracelet with black ceramic inserts.
