TAG Heuer Watch Monza Chronograph Special Edition CR2080.FC6375. TAG Heuer watches are celebrating the 40th anniversary of one of their most highly anticipated and coveted timepieces. In 1976 Jack Heuer, the great grandson of the brands founder, designed the very first TAG Heuer Monza Chronograph to celebrate Niki Laudas first world championship title with Ferrari. Now, forty years later, TAG Heuer have reinvented the model to celebrate its birthday. The new TAG Heuer Monza Chronograph still boasts a tachymeter scale and a pulsometer within an all black cushion shaped case, however instead of the original steel of the old model, the new design is crafted from grade 5 titanium allowing the increased 42mm dial to become lighter and even more shock resistant. Housed beneath the domed scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass is a black sunray dial set with black and white lacquered hour and minute hands as well as indices in vintage orange Superluminova for easy readability. The timepiece is completed by a striking black calfskin leather strap which evokes the image of a three spoke steering wheel of a race car
