The bezel marks a number of distinctive features such as an altimeter, barometer, alarm, compass, countdown timer and chronograph. A quick time zone feature also allows the wearer to read the current time on the main dial simultaneously with a second time on the digital screen. Well illuminated hands and marked dial allow for low light visibility and the added bonus of a blue backlight accompanies the LDC screen for nighttime use. Various functions of the movement are accessed via pressing two activation sites on both walls of the watch in conjunction with swipes on the screen. The T Touch Expert Solar is carried by a sturdy titanium case and whilst remaining lightweight and comfortable on the wrist, a size increase to 45mm in diameter results in a broader wear and exudes a powerful presence. The Tissot T Touch Expert Solar is adapted to surviving water depths of 100 meters and is protected underneath a sapphire crystal glass window which has received anti glare treatment to both sides.
